Terms of Use
Last updated September 4, 2026
This site is operated by everydev, Inc., doing business as CTO Search. Using ctosearch.ai or taking the CTO Levels assessment means you accept these terms. They are short because the site is simple; actual engagements are governed by their own signed letters, which take precedence over this page.
What the site is
ctosearch.ai describes my executive-search practice and hosts the CTO Levels assessment. Assessment results and reports are informational: a structured read on an organization or a career, produced from your answers. They are not legal, financial, or professional advice, and no report creates an engagement, a guarantee of placement, or an obligation for either of us.
Your answers
You own what you submit. By submitting it you give me permission to process it, including with AI services acting on my instructions, to produce your results and to operate the practice. How data is handled lives in the privacy policy.
Honest use
Answer as yourself or your own organization, don't probe or disrupt the service, and don't scrape or republish assessment content. The question banks and reports are mine; quote them with attribution, don't clone them.
No warranty, limited liability
The site and its reports are provided as they are. I work carefully, and I do not warrant that the site is uninterrupted or that a report fits your situation. To the extent the law allows, everydev, Inc.'s total liability arising from use of this site is limited to one hundred dollars; signed engagement letters carry their own terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If something goes wrong, reach me first through the contact form: nearly everything resolves in one conversation.
Changes and contact
When these terms change, the date above changes with them. Questions go through the contact form.
